Het Global Indian Forced Labour Database Project (GIFLP) bestudeert gedwongen arbeidsmigratie vanuit India naar andere koloniën tijdens het kolonialisme en de Indiase diaspora die daardoor is ontstaan. De studie is een gezamenlijk project van het Sarnámihuis en het International Institute for Scientific Research (IISR). Het Sarnámihuis is het instituut voor Hindostaans cultureel erfgoed en organiseert regelmatig culturele activiteiten ten behoeve van de Hindostaanse gemeenschap in Nederland. Het IISR is een onafhankelijk onderzoeksinstituut dat onderzoek naar geschiedenis en identiteitsontwikkeling vanuit een dekoloniaal perspectief aanmoedigt. Het theoretisch raamwerk voor GIFLP is ontwikkeld vanuit het kader van Decolonizing the Mind.

The GIFLP is a study on forced labour migration from India to other colonies during the colonial period and the Indian community that arose from this period. The study is a joint project of Sarnámihuis and the International Institute for Scientific Research (IISR). Both institutions are based in The Hague Holland.

Sarnámihuis is a cultural organization in The Netherlands that organizes cultural events in the Indian community in Holland. IISR is an independent research institute that promotes research in history and identity formation from a decolonial perspective.
